I became interested in Real Estate back in 1988.  It took some time before I got the guts to actually get involved in Real Estate.  My introduction, or lets call it my immersion, took place after I bought the “Dave Del Datto” system in the fall of 1989 from a late night infomercial.  When I got my box, I read the material but couldn’t figure out where to start.  I knew I needed more help so I looked for more but never found anything until I read an ad in the newspaper on “Creating a Real Estate Money Machine”

I remember sitting in a conference room of the La Quinta Inn in Salt Lake City listening to Wade Cook,   I kept thinking “man I can do this”

Although my start was slow, wrong, full of mistakes and losing more money then I had, I eventually, over a 4 and 1/2 year time frame, got it.

I started buying seller financed notes or the debt against Real Estate.  I bought notes in the Western US and out on the East Coast as well.  I Quickly moved into what I call ”sticks and bricks” purchases which is the Real Estate and buildings, not just the debt.

I have bought fixed and sold homes, bought rentals, bought seller financed notes, bought and fixed mobile homes, bought mobile home notes, lease optioned homes and have owned mixed use commercial real estate as well.

In 1995 I became one of the founding coaches of the Carleton Sheets coaching division. For 10 years I took students one on one through an educational process that focused on “Change”.  During that time I watched the dramatic lifestyle changes that my students went through by choosing to become a real estate investor.   I left the Coaching division in July of 2005 and took some time off.  I missed the training arena and decided to jump into the multi day classroom educational process.  I have taught seminars for Carleton Sheets, Robert Allen and the National Foreclosure Institute.

The difference between myself and all the other Real Estate educators is content.  I don’t hold anything back, I know people want a return on their investment and I give them as much content as they can handle.  I also know a large percentage of people want a coach or a mentor to guide them through their transactions.  Through my content my customers see the expertise and a large percentage choose to become my students.

You will pay for your education one way or the other.  Meaning, you can hire a professional who has walked your same path and learn from his successes and failures or your can go it alone.  Either way it will cost you money and I can guarantee you, paying a professional will be a lot less than going it alone.
